We all know that this is a crapshoot every single year. With the exception of the Pats and Colts, there are always "surprises" each season.
Then there is always drama every year. Be it Tony Romo's "mangina" being solicited to every hollywood starlet or Terrell Owens' antics or Ocho Cinco creating a stir, or whatever. There is a storyline each week. Of course, injuries are always a factor too. All that said, it is still "fun" to predict what is going to happen. It is fun because there is no money on the table (at least not mine), nor does anyone get hurt. I mean, do the Patriots, Bucs, Colts, or anyone else care what fans predict them to do? Me thinks not. All this said, here are my "predictions" for the 2008 campaign in the N.F.L. ---- NFC South New Orleans Tampa Bay Carolina Atlanta NFC North Detroit Minnesota Green Bay Chicago NFC East Dallas (puke) N.Y. Giants Philadelphia Washington NFC West Seattle (by default) Arizona San Francisco St. Louis AFC South Jacksonville (they finally overtake Indy) Indianapolis Tennessee Houston AFC North Pittsburgh Cleveland Baltimore Cincinnati AFC East New England N.Y. Jets Miami Buffalo AFC West San Diego Denver Oakland Kansas City NFC Wildcards Tampa Bay N.Y. Giants AFC Wildcards Indianapolis N.Y. Jets Super Bowl Matchup Jacksonville vs. Dallas Okay...let the flaming begin....LOL

AFC EAST:
1. New England (14-2) 2. NY Jets (9-7) 3. Buffalo (7-9) 4. Miami (6-10) AFC NORTH: 1. Pittsburgh (12-4) 2. Cleveland (6-10) 3. Cincinnati (5-11) 4. Baltimore (4-12) AFC SOUTH: 1. Indianapolis (13-3) 2. Jacksonville (12-4)* 3. Tennessee (9-7)* 4. Houston (6-10) AFC WEST: 1. San Diego (8-8) 2. Oakland (8-8) 3. Denver (8-8) 4. Kansas City (4-12) * wild card Wild-Card: Tennessee @ Pittsburgh - Tennessee Jacksonville @ San Diego - San Diego Divisional: Tennessee @ New England - New England San Diego @ Indianapolis - Indianapolis AFC Championship: Indianapolis @ New England - New England NFC EAST: 1. Dallas (13-3) 2. Philadelphia (12-4)* 3. NY Giants (9-7)* 4. Washington (7-9) NFC NORTH: 1. Minnesota (10-6) 2. Chicago (8-8) 3. Detroit (6-10) 4. Green Bay (5-11) NFC SOUTH: 1. New Orleans (10-6) 2. Carolina (9-7) 3. Tampa Bay (8-8) 4. Atlanta (4-12) NFC WEST: 1. Seattle (9-7) 2. Arizona (7-9) 3. San Francisco (6-10) 4. St. Louis (3-13) * wild card Wild-Card: Philadelphia @ Seattle - Philadelphia NY Giants @ Minnesota - Minnesota Divisional: Philadelphia @ Dallas - Dallas Minnesota @ New Orleans - Minnesota NFC Championship: Minnesota @ Dallas - Minnesota SUPER BOWL: New England over Minnesota Unfortunately, Dallas and New England are going to be dominant. However, I see the Cowgirls pulling the ultimate choke job, closing Texas Stadium by crapping away the NFCC game. Otherwise, the media (and NFL with multiple national tv games) choke on Cleveland kool-aid, and the wheels fall completely off in Green Bay. I expect both Oakland and the Jets to be in the mix for a wild-card berth until the last week, in fact, TB plays spoiler to Gruden's old employ in week 17. As for our NFC South, I'm not huge on the Saints, but the Panthers have too many questions, and TB just won't have enough offensive push either.
